The dataset on who AI recommends locally.
The RankNext Local AI Visibility Index samples AI assistants nightly with real customer questions (“What are the best [trade] options in [metro]? Please name the top few businesses and briefly say why.”) across 20 service trades and 20 US metros, storing every answer verbatim with a timestamp and engine label. It exists because buyers increasingly ask AI who to hire, and nobody was measuring what AI says back.

Methodology, in one paragraph
Nightly scheduled prompts, verbatim storage, deterministic parsing (no LLM grades an LLM), engine labeled on every capture, sample sizes on every statistic, and cuts under n=5 dropped rather than shown. Monthly reports freeze their numbers at publication.

CC-BY: cite anything with attribution as “RankNext Local AI Visibility Index” with the month. We can pull raw verbatim captures, per-trade or per-metro cuts, or run custom prompt sets for a story on request.
