The Local AI Index

Monthly reports: who AI actually recommends.

Every night, our Index asks AI assistants real customer questions across US trades and metros and stores each answer verbatim. Once a month, when the sample clears our publication floor, we publish what the answers showed: how often a real business gets named, how often the buyer gets sent to a directory instead, and which businesses kept their seats. Every statistic carries its sample size. Cite freely with attribution (CC-BY).

The first report is being earned.

We publish a month only after it crosses 400 stored samples — no thin data, no extrapolation. The Index is sampling nightly right now; meanwhile the live Index hub shows running aggregates.
