What AI answers for roofing company in Kansas City, MO

Here are some of the most consistently well-regarded roofing companies in Kansas City, MO, based on reputation, customer reviews, and industry standing. Note that "best" depends on your needs (residential vs. commercial, insurance claims, budget), so I'd recommend getting 2–3 quotes. 1. Santa Fe Roofing - Long-established local company with strong word-of-mouth and high ratings on Google/Angi. - Known for quality residential work and responsive communication; good for insurance-related storm damage. 2. Shamrock Roofing & Construction - One of the larger KC-area roofing outfits; handles residential and commercial. - Often praised for thorough inspections, financing options, and handling storm/hail claims common in the Midwest. 3. A-Best Roofing - Family-owned, been in the KC market for decades. - Reputation for straightforward estimates and solid workmanship on repairs and replacements. 4. Metro Roofing - Local, well-reviewed for both roof replacement and repair work. - Frequently cited for professionalism and clean job sites. 5. JR & Co. / Jayhawk Roofing (regional players) - Larger contractors with commercial and residential divisions; good if you need bigger or more complex jobs. Tips before hiring: - Verify a Missouri contractor license and check for BBB accreditation. - Confirm they're insured (liability + workers' comp) and get it in writing. - Ask for local references and check recent Google reviews (not just the star average). - Get at least 3 written quotes and compare scope, not just price. - Be cautious of door-to-door storm-chasers after hail events; prefer established local firms. Want me to narrow this down by roof type (asphalt, metal, flat/commercial) or by whether you're filing an insurance claim?
